The National Veterans Foundation’s (NVF) Lifeline for Vets helps Veterans of all eras, their family members and active duty service members, some while serving overseas in combat deployments. The Lifeline for Vets assists Veterans with needs including medical treatment, PTSD counseling, VA benefits advocacy, food, shelter, employment, training, legal aid, suicide intervention and more.

HEVIN (Helping Every Veteran in Need) is a non-profit organization committed to assisting local veterans that have needs in Cowlitz County. We take time to get to know the veteran and to figure out the best method of assisting while taking steps to wisely use our resources. HEVIN works with Veterans for a variety of needs, from small to large, including connecting them with other community resources. We try to help veterans as fast as possible. Paying it forward helps to cultivate a veteran community so no one stands alone.
America’s Gold Star Families is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created to provide honor, hope and healing to those grieving any military loss through active duty service. We include all family members representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstance of death. America’s Gold Star Families honors our fallen heroes who served in the United States Armed Forces and cares for their survivors through programs and services at no cost to the survivors.
